Luscious Craving is the second book in the Candace Steele Vampire Killer series. Candace is back at her security job in Vegas and trying to stay away from Ash, the vampire she loves. It’s time to move on with her life and that means a new man as well. A quick tumble with a hot guy is just the ticket. Candace meets Michael at her favorite all night diner; his handsome face and quick smile could be just the thing to take her mind off Ash. Besides Michael, an amateur gambler, is only in town for the length of his tournament and she’ll never see him again.

On the vampire front, there’s some new guys in town calling themselves the Bat Pack and dressing like the Rat Pack. These guys have some big plans up their sleeve that involve Candace’s casino, The Scheherazade. Candace finds herself right back in the center of Ash’s world with the rumors of a vampire assault on New Year’s Eve. Only Candace can stop it but she must go to Ash for help leaving herself vulnerable to his seductive embrace.

Luscious Craving takes you back to the beginning of Ash and Candace’s relationship but this time from his point of view. Ash’s motives and feelings for Candace become clearer filling in much of the missing details from the firs book, Passionate Thirst. The relationship between these two is so complicated and passionate that you can’t help but be drawn into this incredibly hot vampire romance. The third book in this fabulous series is Eternal Hunger.

Passionate Thirst is the first book in the Candace Steel Vampire Killer trilogy by Cameron Dean. Candace is as deadly as she is beautiful. Her job as undercover security at a Las Vegas casino gives her the perfect opportunity to perform her second job, vampire hunter. She gets close to the powerful undead and stakes them before they even know what hit them. It’s not just a job for Candace, she’s haunted by memories of her vampire love Ash who almost killed her. They had a passionate affair that left her with scars in more ways than one. Dreams of their lovemaking still haunt her.

Hot singing sensation Temptation McCoy comes to Vegas for a major concert and Candace is assigned to protect her. The ice cold feeling in her veins could only mean one thing, that a very powerful vampire is part of Temptation’s entourage. Can she protect Temptation and manage to eliminate a vampire who is more frightening than anything she has ever encountered? To complicate things even more Ash is in town and doing everything in his power to bring Candace back into his seductive embrace. She’s not sure if she can resist him this time even at the cost of her own life.

Passionate Thirst is a great start to a new series. By all indications it will only be a trilogy but we can hope right? Las Vegas is the perfect town for vampires and Candace Steele is one kick-ass broad who can take care of herself. What makes her interesting is her vulnerability under the hard exterior. Her relationship with Ash is very complicated and angst ridden. It’s very Buffy/Angel but taken to a whole new level.

Eternal Hunger is the third book in the Candace Steele Vampire Killer trilogy. Candace is brutally attacked by a vampire. Moments away from death, she must make a decision; die or allow Ash to turn her into a vampire. She chooses to live and allows Ash to bring her into his world. Their passionate relationship is rekindled and nothing stands between them any longer. The danger is not past however. Candace’s attacker is Ash’s nemesis, Sloane who is also a member of The Board. Sloane is after the final relic that will allow the members of The Board to complete an ancient Egyptian ritual that will bring them immortality and the power of the god of death.

Candace has the final piece of the puzzle, a symbol with the words needed for the ritual. Ash will do his best to protect her as they are lured into a dangerous confrontation that could give these vampires the ultimate power over humankind. The cost may be higher than Candace is willing to pay and her new hungers threaten to overwhelm her.
